Cordless Serial Adapter Passkey

The CSA does not ship configured with a passkey. The CSA can be setup as a BT device to either disable passkey authentication or require authentication with a passkey depending on the requirements of your Bluetooth device. The value is determined by the settings in the configuration utility when you setup the CSA as described in chapter 3 of the CSA User Guide (there's a copy of the User Guide on the CD that came with your Cordless Serial Adapter).

So in effect, if you choose to use authentication with a passkey you enable it then pick a passkey and then write this information to the CSA.
