Problems Configuring The Cordless Serial Adapter
Socket provides the flexibility to customize your CSA two different ways. The more common and easiest method is to use the CSA Configuration Utility on a notebook or desktop device to change many of the more common settings such as baud rate, flow control, and security. A user with access to a terminal device can also use the Socket Command Set to program an extensive number of advanced features. Socket provides the Command Set User Documentation on the installation CD.
Unfortunately the configuration utility software for the CSA is only available for Windows operating systems at this time including Windows950B/98SE/ME/2000/XP. You will need one of these operating systems to configure the CSA.
There are various reasons and related solution to troubleshoot the incorrect working of the configuration utility.
