Hi-Speed VS. Older Models - How to Tell
Some older version Serial I/O PC Cards from Socket are limited to 230 kbps. If you are using a lower speed serial card you must select a baud rate below 230 Kbps. The low speed serial card may not operate properly if you select a baud rate higher than 230 Kbps.
Hi-Speed serial cards can be identified by the rev letter on the back of the card. The following are hi-speed serial cards and are capable of transferring data at 921 Kbps. For a complete list of Serial cards see the User's Guide.
